After fellowship, Dr. Hamilton worked in pediatric chronic pain and palliative care at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) with a team that integrates western medicine and complimentary and alternative therapies. During his time at UCLA, he cared for children and young adults with chronic pain from conditions such as headache, irritable bowel syndrome and abdominal pain, complex regional pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, and joint pain. He completed a Master in Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and provided therapy for teens and support for families from marginalized communities. Dr. Hamilton previously served as a clinical instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
